A friend sent me this poem last night:
Courage, Sister
God grant you the courage to face this new birth;
He planned it so special, A plan of great worth.
It causes some anguish, some dread and some fear,
But the fruit of it all is someone so dear.
God's using you sister, to labor for Him,
O don't let the vision die out or wax dim.
You'll hold in your arms (Lord willing that is)
A bundle immortal, A gift that is His,
He's lent it to you, He's trusting you'll keep
Your charge that is sacred, His blessing you'll seek.
God bless you, my sister, give strength this last while,
For the burden grows heavy and tiresome each mile,
I pray you'll endure it- the end is in view,
For surely it's worth it, for someone so new!
The poem was good timing since we are trying to be patient in waiting for this dear baby of ours. We still have one more week to go...but according to our Doctor last week, we should have been holding this baby for 5 days. Now I feel like I'm over due! I'm just hanging out in my house trying to keep busy. Oh, what to do today?
Last night my husband took me out on a date! I wasn't to sure about going but we did and had a great time. He "borrowed" his brothers car and we went to Montezuma (spicy food brings on labor :). We love that place and it was delicious! Then we went for a drive past a house that was on Extreme Makeover. We couldn't see to much because it was dark. Then we stopped at Weis for a few groceries an then came back home.
We awoke this morning and are still at home awaiting this baby! We can't wait to see what the Doctor says tomorrow.
Here is a picture of the car we took last night! We decided it's time we upgrade! :)
And, another picture of me and my baby...
Hope you all have a good day!
